Since the moss ball lives for a very long time and retains its green color, you do not need to regularly buy fresh flowers and throw them away after a while. It is enough to simply change the water once a week.

Care and maintenance

What to do with a moss ball after you've gotten them?

Since the moss ball is unpretentious in maintenance, there is not much work you have to do with it. So, what we recommend immediately after receiving them:
1.    Rinse the plants under cold running water
for a few minutes or leave the plants with cold water to lie for a few hours.
What this is for.
- As you already know, the moss ball is a natural water filter. It allows water to pass through it, purifying it and leaving residual impurities in it.
Therefore, the water may be a little dirty after flushing. BUT THIS IS NOT A DEFECT OR A PROBLEM! After some time, the water will be clean.
2.    Immediately put the plants in an aquarium or your decorative vase, jar.
3.    Fill the plants with water. Since it is a water moss, it cannot live without water.

If you don't want to or can't use the plants right away, you can after rinsing:

  1. Squeeze the water off the plants, but not too much so that the plants are moist enough.
  2. Place the plants in our branded packaging or any plastic
    bag, close it tightly and leave it in a cold place. Ideal is a refrigerator.

DO NOT leave the plants in the sun!

Closed and moist plants can be stored in a cool place for a very long time. Our proprietary packaging has been specially designed for long term plant
storage!

DO NOT:
- placing the moss ball in bright sunlight!
The moss ball may yellow and disintegrate.
- leave plants without water for a long time!
Plants quickly dry out, lose shape and color. 

Please note that:
- it is perfectly normal for a ball of moss to not be perfectly round. None of us are perfect either.
- it is perfectly normal and not a defect if the moss ball is not perfectly green in color.  The moss ball grows in a natural lake. Depending on the weather and time of the year, it may take on a slightly yellow or brown color. After some time of proper maintenance, it will change color to a beautiful green color.
- Our moss ball is sanitized against parasites. It is a safe disinfectant, but, do not place the moss ball in the aquarium without rinsing
it in clean water.
